RECTORY LANE CLOSURE

On the day of the race, Rectory Lane (part of the one way system coming into Market Bosworth and the only direct route from the A447) will be shut to all traffic from 09:00 due to road works.  The details are shown here from the county council website.

Runners will need to plan ahead to either get to the water park earlier or follow the suggested route.  Note that our suggested route is slightly different from that published above as there is a simpler route to get to the water parK:  We suggest carrying on further down the A447 to Barlestone, Turn Left at the crossroads and follow the road into Carlton, rather than turning left to Bosworth, go straight across and the road will lead you to the water park directly - click on the image below for a suggested route:
