Temporary Road Traffic Order
The following Temporary Road Traffic Orders have been submitted to Leicestershire County Council.
Road Closure near venue
Closure of lane from Bosworth Lakeside Lodges on Wellsborough Road to the T Junction at Far Coton. (Note: this is an access road mainly only used to enter the Water Park/Far Coton residents and is rarely used by through traffic).
The following signs will be in place – 2 RA closed, 1 Road Closed
Short Duration Rolling Closure
In addition, the following short duration rolling closures will be utilised – each approximately 8 minutes long. The times stated are an approximate window in which the 8 minute closure will be enacted:

Shenton Lane between Coton Lane and the turn to Shenton. |

Additional Traffic Control Measures
The following additional traffic control measures will be implemented:
10:05 – 11:30 |
1 metre width restriction of Stoke Road and Roman Road (Fenn Lane) |
10:45 – 12:30 |
Junction of Ambion Lane and Bosworth Road – Traffic controlled by Chapter 8 Marshals to cross the road to start of Gated Road |
10:45 – 12:45 |
Closure of Bosworth Road / Sutton Lane from Sutton Cheney to Market Bosworth. |
10:45 – 13:00 |
Closure from Shenton Lane to Far Coton. Access will be provided to residents throughout. The road is a small access road generally used by residents only |
11:30 – 15:00 |
Suspension of Right turn from exit of Bosworth Water Park to Wellsborough Road: Signed with “No Right Turn” during the time shown. |
10:00 – 13:30 |
Temporary Speed restriction to 30mph on Shenton Lane and Roman Road / Fenn Lane |
All Traffic Control Timings and operations are under the instruction of qualified Chapter 8 personnel. Once all runners have passed through the notices shall be withdrawn. From past experience this is likely to occur before the end of the timings shown.
At all locations residents will be allowed entry and exit providing it is safe to do so (at the judgement of the local controller).
